An alien spirit came down from the sky one day and told the people of that world: I am the supreme being. I know all for I have created all. There are superior beings to you creatures, but they are all lesser than I.
“How do we know you speak truth?” Asked one woman.
“Now, said the spirit. You dare defy me?!?” And watery blows of acid came out of his hand and molten the woman to cinders.
With the crowd aghast, only one voice could be heard. It was another woman.
“Can you answer the question?”
The spirit sighed in exasperation.
“You creatures are moronic. I will entertain your question.
To prove I am all knowing, you may ask me one question and one question only. Any question on your god’s green earth. If I am able to answer it - you are all doomed to an eternity of suffering. But, if am not able to answer it - which is metaphysically impossible - I will let you all get back to your pathetic miserable lives.”
The crowd immediately jumped on the 3rd woman who was about to waste the last and third question of possibly the entire existence by demanding the spirit answer the question.
“I have a question for you!” Cried an old voice from the back.
The crowd split and made a clearing for the old man. Walking on his cane he paced forward slowly. All eyes were on him now, part anticipation part dread imeasurable.
The old man opened his mouth and his teeth fell out. He picked them up and put them back in his mouth, securing it tightly this time.
He said: “Oh Alien Spirit. WHY Are You?”
The spirit took a moment, then flinched back in terror.
The next moment everyone found themselves doing what seemed like they’ve always done. Nothing ever happened.
